Ross and I finally agreed on new counter tops for the kitchen. As you can see from the picture above, the previous house owners went all out with the multi-brown color counter tops. We also bought new appliances a few months back since the oven was broken when we moved in to our lovely home. The new counter tops are called India Tropical Green. I was a little worried at first as for how they would look, but now that they are installed, I would not go with any thing different.
Of course, now we need to determine a back splash. I hope this does not take as long as the granite...

Love the new countertops. I am so jealous!!! We'll have to have dinner and game night there to try them out.
