Returning Back to Normal

As many of you already know, last week was vacation bible school (aka VBS) at the church. I truly enjoy the five days of singing, teaching, learning, and eating cookies :-). Since my nephew Terrance was the only student in the 3rd and 4th grade class, he was bumped up to the 5th and 6th grade class...so...I taught the 1st and 2nd grade class. It was interesting....all girls each night. Needless to say, I stayed on my toes due to the questions asked and the different personalities. I truly have to commend all the elementary education teachers who have a true passion to teach.

So, life was turned a little upside down last week. My niece and nephews from Louisiana stayed the week with us, and my mom was here as well. Since it is usually just Ross and me, it was CRAZY having a house full. My mom cooked and cleaned around the clock, and it was constantly Aunt Tia or Uncle Ross can we do, can we have, are we going, etc... Of course, I love my family to pieces, but the 1 week rule of staying is needed in order to keep what little sanity I have left. After the kids left, I think Orea and Chloe slept the entire day on Saturday.

Now, life is back to normal. Ross is getting in trouble every other minutes and the dogs are running around fighting each other.

The niece and nephews will probably always remember their time spent at Aunt Tia and Uncle Ross's house. I just hope the dogs recover :-)
